Tongji University School of Environment began to study electrochemical water treatment technology in 1990. The research areas include: electrolysis of salt water to produce chlorine, electrolysis of seawater to produce chlorine, electrolysis disinfection of tap water, anti-scaling and sterilization of circulating water by electrolysis, electrolysis disinfection of sewage, high-efficiency electrolysis electrodes, disinfection by-products, and civil high-efficiency disinfection products. In Russia, our company is responsible for the equipment general contracting of the brine electrolysis chlorine production project of the water plant with a daily water production of up to 1.3 million tons. The chlorine production scale of the project is 8×40kg/h, and the system has been operating reliably for more than ten years. In China, Shanghai Changxing Water Plant also uses our company's products. The chlorine production scale of the project is 4×20kg/h, which lays the foundation for the promotion of this technology in my country's water plant system.
