Description
Municipal water refers to water that is produced by city water treatment plants, and which has been purified and disinfected to meet the corresponding standards for human consumption and industrial use. The residual chlorine content of the water leaving the treatment plant should be no less than 0.3 mg/L, and no less than 0.05 mg/L at the end of the distribution network.
The purpose of disinfecting drinking water is to eliminate most of the pathogenic microorganisms present in the water that can pose a health risk to humans, including bacteria, viruses, and protozoa, in order to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases.
SCIYEE Technology offers various types of equipment that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your water treatment plant.
