Description
Introduction to Ultraviolet Sterilization Principle and Applications:
Ultraviolet disinfection uses wavelengths ranging from 225 to 275 nm, with 253.7 nm being the most effective for disinfection. When various bacteria and viruses in water or air pass through the ultraviolet irradiation area, ultraviolet rays penetrate the cell membranes and nuclei of microorganisms, damaging their nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). This prevents them from synthesizing proteins and dividing cells, rendering the microorganisms unable to replicate, inherit, and ultimately leading to their death.
Comprehensive Applications of Ultraviolet Sterilization Device:
● Wastewater treatment
● Urban water supply treatment
● Drinking water treatment
● Pure water treatment
● Aquaculture water treatment
● Swimming pool water treatment
● Commercial process water

Introduction to Ultraviolet Sterilization Device:
Ultraviolet sterilizers are primarily classified into two types: cavity-type ultraviolet sterilizers and open-channel ultraviolet sterilizers. Accessories of ultraviolet sterilizers include ultraviolet germicidal lamps, ballasts, quartz tubes, sealing rings, PTFE pressure rings, and ultraviolet lamp sockets.
Cavity-type Ultraviolet Sterilizer: Ultraviolet lamps are installed parallel to each other in a stainless-steel cavity. The stainless-steel cylinder is mirror-polished internally and externally to enhance ultraviolet irradiation intensity, ensuring no dead zones and preventing bacterial growth. Ultraviolet lamps are aligned parallel to the water flow direction, ensuring uniform ultraviolet radiation at every point within the stainless-steel cavity to maintain high sterilization efficiency.
Open-channel Ultraviolet Sterilizer: Multiple independent ultraviolet modules are placed in an open channel. Each ultraviolet module consists of a stainless-steel lamp frame, several ultraviolet lamps, high-transmittance quartz sleeves, an automatic cleaning system, a power distribution system, and a data acquisition system. Water flows through the disinfection device by gravity. Ultraviolet lamp modules can be directly inserted or removed for maintenance and inspection.
