Introduction and Applications of Activated Carbon Dosing:

The powdered activated carbon dosing system is a treatment equipment that utilizes the strong adsorption capacity of powdered activated carbon to remove pollutants from water. It mainly includes processes such as powdered activated carbon storage, quantitative feeding, mixing and stirring, and dosing point selection. By precisely controlling the dosing amount, dosing speed, and mixing efficiency with the water to be treated, it ensures full contact between powdered activated carbon and water, maximizing its adsorption and purification efficiency.

Introduction to Activated Carbon Dosing Equipment:

Activated carbon dosing systems are divided into two types based on operation mode: dry dosing and wet dosing.
Dry Dosing Method: This method involves feeding powdered activated carbon into a water ejector via a quantitative feeding device, which then doses the carbon powder to the target point. The powder dosing capacity ranges from 5-200 kg/h. The device mainly consists of a vacuum feeding system (or manual feeding as an option), storage system, dry powder dosing system, jet mixing system, anti-carbon/anti-water overflow system, and control system.
Wet Dosing Method: This method involves conveying powdered activated carbon to a carbon slurry preparation tank via a quantitative feeding device, where it is mixed into a slurry (typically with a concentration of about 5%), and then dosed quantitatively via a dosing pump. The slurry preparation capacity ranges from 100-5000 L/h. The device mainly consists of a vacuum feeding system (or manual feeding as an option), storage system, dry powder quantitative feeding system, slurry preparation system, slurry variable-frequency conveying system, pipeline backwash system, and control system.

Equipped with a backwash system to effectively prevent pipeline blockage caused by carbon powder deposition after long-term equipment inactivity;
On-line weighing and metering system for precise dry powder dosing.
